We're looking for someone who is organized, analytical, and self-driven, and who thrives working closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders. As a project engineer, you will become an important part of the project organization and play a central role in supporting project management in areas including planning, finances, risk management, requirements, procurement, communication, and administration. About the Role As a project engineer, you will support one or more project managers and contribute to ensuring that projects are executed according to established goals, requirements, schedules, and budgets. You will, among other things: support the project manager in planning, management, and follow-up coordinate project-related matters within the project organization establish and maintain project management documentation manage and monitor the project schedule compile reporting for project management, controller, and client monitor the project's finances, forecasts, and invoice handling support work with requirements lists, inspection programs, and deviations coordinate the project's risk work and action plans support project management with procurement and call-offs coordinate contacts with suppliers, contractors, and external parties contribute to the project's internal and external communication participate in meetings with consultants and contractors take minutes and notes, and follow up on decisions and actions administer the project's system support, documentation, and case management prepare summaries, presentations, and reports when needed, handle classified information and participate in SUA-related tasks. The role involves close collaboration with the project manager, as well as with other functions in the project organization. Your Main Areas of Responsibility The role primarily encompasses the following areas: Leadership and Management Provide support and serve as a sounding board for the project manager and project organization. Prepare and drive agreed-upon project matters. Contribute to ensuring that the project's working methods and processes are followed. Scheduling Establish, update, and monitor the project schedule. Coordinate reporting of schedule and task durations. Finances Monitor the project's finances and forecasts. Prepare financial documentation for the project manager and controller. Manage financial follow-ups during project execution. Requirements and Risk Administer and update requirements lists and inspection programs. Coordinate deviations and the project's risk work. Monitor risks, actions, and action plans. Procurement Support project management with call-offs and supplier contacts. Participate in developing task descriptions and request for proposal materials. Communication and Administration Coordinate internal and external project communication. Participate in meetings and document decisions and actions. Manage the project's documentation, meeting bookings, filing, and system access. Update, for example, ÄTA/UR logs and other project registers. We're Looking for Someone Who You have: Academic education with a technical focus, at least 120 hp in areas such as economics, engineering, or construction, or equivalent competence At least 5 years of relevant experience within the last 7 years from construction projects within roads, for example as a project engineer, contract engineer, project coordinator, or project economist At least 2 years of continuous experience from a relevant assignment At least 5 years of experience in risk management, scheduling, and financial management in projects At least 3 years of experience with independent minute-taking in projects Very good proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite Very good Swedish in speech and writing Good collaboration and communication skills Good initiative and a structured work approach Good problem-solving skills and the ability to see the project from a holistic perspective The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
