We are now seeking a Payroll Specialist who wants to be part of the entire payroll delivery – from payroll processing and government reporting to controlling and operational support. In this role, you are a central part of the payroll function and serve as qualified support to both managers and employees. You also maintain ongoing contact with external stakeholders and actively contribute to developing quality and working methods within the payroll area. You work closely with the business to ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in payroll management. What You Will Be DoingAs a payroll specialist, you belong to one of two teams that together are responsible for ensuring a correct, efficient, and high-quality payroll process for all our employees. Together with the team, you ensure correct salary payments on time and contribute to developing working methods and processes. You identify areas for improvement and serve as expert support in more complex payroll matters. Examples of work tasks: Conduct payroll runs and perform controls to ensure correct salary calculations Responsible for reporting to government agencies and other organizations such as the Swedish Tax Agency, Statistics Sweden, and Confederation of Swedish Enterprise in accordance with applicable legal requirements and internal guidelines. Work with payroll controlling and the interface with accounting, where you contribute to monitoring, analysis, and quality assurance of payroll-related data. Provide qualified expert support to managers and employees in complex payroll matters and contribute specialized expertise by training and supporting payroll administrators in systems and processes. Work actively with quality and development efforts within the payroll process and contribute to continuous improvements in working methods and routines. What You Bring Relevant academic or vocational training in payroll. Experience with Visma HR-plus 8 is highly meritorious. Deep knowledge and solid experience of all aspects of payroll work including collective agreements and legal reporting. Knowledge of GDPR, tax and benefits regulations, and employment law regulations. Very good system knowledge in payroll and understanding of HCM and time reporting systems. Understanding of the bigger picture – you are accustomed to navigating between payroll, HR, and accounting, with good control of tax and benefits regulations. Communicative and pedagogical – you have experience in and interest for training others, and enjoy sharing your knowledge. An interest in digitalization and experience working with new working methods and process development. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
