We are now looking for a property manager who has a genuine interest in real estate and wants to take full responsibility for the economy, maintenance and long-term development of the municipality's own property portfolio. This is a role for you who wants to drive the work forward, prioritize wisely and make decisions that make a difference. About the operation: The Property Department is responsible for the entire lifecycle of the municipality's properties, from new construction and renovation to operation, maintenance and development. We manage approximately 150,000 square meters, primarily schools, preschools and care facilities. Environments that are crucial for everyday life to function. Here, the right priorities and decisions make a real difference, both in everyday life and over time. Our focus is on long-term sustainable management. This means we develop properties that meet both today's needs and future requirements for accessibility, flexibility, comfort and energy efficiency. We have broad expertise in everything from lease agreements and technology to operations, safety and contractor collaborations. We work in a structured and data-driven manner, supported by digital tools such as Facilitate and Antura. You inventory, plan and prioritize maintenance, both short and long-term. You are responsible for budget, follow-up and cost control and are the contact person for operations and tenants. You drive minor construction and adaptation projects. You ensure that legal requirements, function and quality are met and contribute to energy efficiency and development of the portfolio. You work closely with both operations and technology, and are the one who sees the whole picture. Qualifications: Relevant education or equivalent experience Several years of experience in property management Good understanding of construction, installations and maintenance Experience working with budget and financial follow-up B-class driving license Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing Meritorious: Experience leading projects within construction or property Personal qualities: You work towards results, show reliability and take responsibility for planning and follow-up of your work. You strengthen relationships by helping others, collaborating, following rules and processes and sharing information. You develop, improve, seek solutions, learning and knowledge on your own initiative. You are the link, provide service, show loyalty internally and externally and monitor the environment.
