Responsibilities
You are a process leader for several communication processes and are responsible for developing work methods, structures, and approaches for the department's communication work. By identifying areas for improvement and leading development initiatives, you contribute to making communication a strong support for the operation to reach its goals. You understand the department's mission, division of responsibilities, and work methods, and develop communication work within that larger context. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues in the communications department and other parts of the department.
You also function as strategic communication support to managers and leaders. This means you help plan and prioritize communication initiatives based on the operation's goals, target groups, and desired effects. You contribute with advice regarding messaging, channel selection, and activity planning from both an overarching and business-focused perspective.
The role also includes operational tasks such as web publishing, text editing based on plain language principles, and basic design. You plan and implement communication initiatives together with your clients and ensure that communication provides the best possible support to the operation.
You work independently while maintaining close collaboration with colleagues throughout the department. You are part of the communications department, an engaged team with a collaborative culture, strong responsibility, and great job satisfaction. The department is a staff function reporting directly to the department director and consists of eight employees. Our mission is to direct, support, and develop the department's internal and external communication.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with higher education in media and communication science or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
You have several years of experience providing both strategic and operational communication support to managers or other leadership roles. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have experience with change communication. It is a merit if you also have experience with crisis communication.
You enjoy helping and coaching operations to work smart, efficiently, and uniformly with communication, and we would like to see that you have experience leading development work, processes, or shared tasks.
You are confident in your role supporting managers in planning communication based on the operation's goals and desired effects. You have a good understanding of target group analysis, messaging, channel selection, and communication planning, while also being comfortable with operational tasks such as web publishing, text editing, or other content packaging.
It is a merit if you have experience with communication related to service delivery, digital solutions, or business goals. It is also an advantage if you have experience with operations development and a process-oriented approach.
As a person, you are analytical and development-oriented. You take initiative, see improvement opportunities, and turn ideas into practical action, both independently and with others. You easily build trust, collaborate with different professions, and adapt your support to the operation's needs.
You have the ability to see the whole picture and understand how communication contributes to the organization's goals and our shared mission. Through a solution-focused approach and strong focus on collaboration, you create results together with others.
