Job Description This recruitment is conducted in collaboration with NearYou staffing, which is responsible for selection and the initial recruitment process. The position is a direct employment with Momec AB with work scheduled during daytime hours. Momec AB is in a strong growth phase and is now seeking an experienced edge press operator who wants to be part of developing the business. We are looking for someone with solid experience in edge pressing and who, either immediately or in the near future, wants to take overall responsibility for the development of the edge pressing department. The role suits you if you are confident in your professional skills, have a strong technical interest, and enjoy taking initiative. You want to contribute to developing work methods, quality, and efficiency while being a natural source of support for your colleagues. As an edge press operator, you work with the manufacturing of specially customized products in small series as well as contract-manufactured sheet metal parts. You are responsible for the entire process, from programming and setup to the finished product. With a focus on quality, precision, and an efficient production flow. In this role, you will, among other things: *Program, set up, and operate edge press machines. *Edge press sheet metal parts with high demands for precision and quality. *Read and interpret drawings and technical documentation. *Develop prototypes and ensure that products meet established quality requirements. *Ensure quality, productivity, and efficiency in daily production. *Contribute to the development of the edge pressing department's work methods and serve as a support and sounding board for colleagues. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: *Solid and documented experience in edge pressing of sheet metal. *Good knowledge of programming, setting up, and operating various machines. *Good ability to interpret and follow drawings carefully. *Strong technical interest, curiosity, and a willingness to take on challenges. *Speaks Swedish well and is skilled at communicating with others. Meritorious: *Previous experience leading, coordinating, or supporting colleagues. *Experience working in Monitor or similar business systems. Does this sound interesting?
