About the Job We are seeking a skilled and experienced men's tailor for our atelier. You will work with sewing, alterations, and tailoring of classic men's garments with high standards for quality and craftsmanship. The work includes both machine sewing and traditional hand tailoring. We are therefore looking for a tailor with solid professional experience who masters the craft of tailoring and can work independently. Responsibilities ● Sewing and alterations of men's garments. ● Tailoring and customization of suits, tailcoats, tuxedos, and other classic men's clothing. ● Hand sewing according to traditional tailoring methods. ● Working with industrial sewing machines and other atelier equipment. ● Customer fittings, try-ons, and quality control. Qualifications Requirements: ● At least 10 years of documented experience as a men's tailor. ● Very strong knowledge of classic men's tailoring. ● Experience with both industrial sewing machines and traditional hand sewing. ● Ability to independently perform advanced alterations and custom tailoring. ● Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Merits: ● Journeyman certificate or other relevant tailoring education. ● Experience with made-to-measure or bespoke garments. ● Experience working with exclusive materials. Personal Qualities You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a genuine interest in classic tailoring craftsmanship. You work independently, take responsibility for your work, and maintain a professional demeanor with customers. Important Information This position is not intended as an apprenticeship or introduction to the trade. We are seeking an experienced tailor who can work independently from day one. At least 10 years of men's tailoring experience is therefore a mandatory requirement.
