Job Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced physical therapist who wants to work independently while also helping build and expand our physiotherapy operations. You will be the sole physical therapist at the facility, which means significant personal responsibility – but also considerable freedom. You plan, structure, and drive the work forward, while maintaining close collaboration with doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists. The work primarily consists of assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, as well as rehabilitation in neurology and respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD. A smaller part of the position involves assignments as a rehabilitation coordinator. This is a complement – not the main focus – and you will receive training for the role. During the coming year, we want to further develop physiotherapy, including by: starting an arthritis school through Stöd och Råd building up group activities developing wellness initiatives for staff You have access to MittPTJ, 1177, Physiotools, and our training facility. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed physical therapist with experience from primary care or similar settings. This is not a position for someone new to the profession – you need to be confident in your role and accustomed to working independently. Experience in driving or developing physiotherapy operations is a significant plus. Experience with rehabilitation coordination is desirable but not required. Advanced training in areas such as OMI, McKenzie, Axelina, acupuncture, or insurance medicine is viewed favorably. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys collaboration and contributing to the bigger picture. You have a natural, professional demeanor and take a solution-focused approach to your work.
