On behalf of our client, a leading player in the defense industry, we are now seeking an Electronics Design Engineer with a focus on power supply. You will become part of a skilled and dedicated team of 16 people who develop advanced ground-based and sea-based radar systems.
What Does the Role Offer?
As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will take full responsibility for the entire development chain, from early project sketches and concept development to supporting production and ensuring the systems function in practice. You will work closely with the design manager and your team colleagues to design fault-tolerant and extremely reliable electrical and power supply solutions.
Your main work tasks include:
Design and architecture of electrical power and power supply systems.
Development of solutions within relays, controls, components, cabling, switches, batteries, and alarm systems.
Circuit board design and schematic drawing.
Collaboration with production, verification, and other development teams driven by a strong focus on quality.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone at a mid to senior level with a solid background in electronics and power supply. You are experienced in building robust systems where quality and functionality take priority over low production costs.
We would like to see that you have experience with:
Technical Domain: Design of electronics and power supply systems, electrical power, controls, cabling, as well as battery and safety solutions.
Tools: Experience with AutoCAD, Cadence (or equivalent PCB design tools), and Visio.
Background: Experience from industries with high reliability demands, such as defense, automotive, or heavy industry (e.g., Saab, Ericsson, Volvo Cars, Husqvarna, or equivalent).
Communication: Fluent Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.
Citizenship: Since our client operates in the defense industry, Swedish citizenship is required.
Security Clearance: For the same reason as citizenship, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance in order to work as a consultant for our client.
