At POJI, we are a specialist team of computational engineers with offices in Karlstad and Gothenburg. We solve complex calculation problems in construction and industry, and we develop our own digital tools that automate calculation processes for our customers. For us, computation is not a side task. It's all we do. We are now seeking an experienced computational engineer who wants to strengthen our industrial section in Karlstad. The Role As a computational engineer with us, you work with FEM analyses and handbook calculations for components and products within marine, defense, machinery, and process industries. You are responsible for the entire chain, from setting up the model to presenting the results to the customer in a clear calculation report. It is precisely this freedom and responsibility that attracts engineers who thrive with us. You work independently but never alone. We are a small team where everyone knows what everyone is working on, where people ask when they wonder and help when someone gets stuck. Quality is taken seriously without becoming bureaucratic. Typical assignments include stress, fatigue, and buckling analyses in ANSYS Mechanical, verification against standards such as EN 13445, Eurocode, and DNV, as well as CE documentation for lifting equipment and machinery design. Who We Are Looking For You have practical experience with ANSYS Mechanical or similar tools from an industrial or consulting environment and a solid understanding of mechanics of materials and failure modes. You are accustomed to taking an assignment from description to final report and enjoy direct customer contact. We place great emphasis on who you are as a person. We are looking for someone who is curious and solution-oriented, who asks questions when uncertain and shares your knowledge when you can. You contribute to the team atmosphere as much as to the calculation report. Good English skills are a requirement as we work with international customers and standards. Swedish is a merit.
