Would you like to help our client establish structure and long-term sustainable practices in archive management? We are now seeking a knowledgeable archivist who can support our client in reviewing their physical archives and establishing a clear and compliant archival process. Are you the one we're looking for? About the Position At Perido, we are looking for an archivist for our client, a non-profit housing company. The company currently has limited internal expertise in the archive field. They therefore need initial support from a knowledgeable archivist who can take a comprehensive approach, create order, and ensure that the work meets the requirements for public operations. This assignment is ideal for someone with experience from public sector work and who thrives in an advisory role. The goal is for the client to be able to independently handle archival matters after the assignment is completed. This position is located in Stockholm, where work is primarily conducted on-site at the office. Your main responsibilities: Review and organize existing physical archives Establish archival inventory Provide advice on archiving and record disposal Ensure that work complies with legal requirements for public operations Develop a practical and sustainable process Are you the one we're looking for? Qualifications: Experience working according to and establishing procedures for the requirements in the Archive Act (1990:782), the Archive Ordinance (1991:446), the Freedom of the Press Ordinance (1949:105), the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009:400), and the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Experience in setting up procedures and processes to comply with legislation, as well as in creating an organization for responsibility distribution.
