About the Role Perido is looking for an archivist for our client, a public housing company. The company currently has limited internal expertise in the records management field. They therefore need initial support from a knowledgeable archivist who can take a comprehensive approach, bring order to their archives, and ensure that the work meets requirements for public operations. This position is ideal for you if you have experience from public sector work and thrive in an advisory role. The goal is for the client to be able to independently handle records management issues after the assignment is completed. This position is located in Järfälla, where work primarily takes place on-site at the office. Your main responsibilities: Review and organize existing physical archives Create records inventory Provide advisory services on filing and records disposition Ensure that work complies with legal requirements for public operations Develop a practical and sustainable process Is this you we're looking for? Qualifications: Experience working according to and creating procedures for requirements in the Archives Act (1990:782), Archives Ordinance (1991:446), Freedom of the Press Ordinance (1949:105), Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009:400), and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Experience setting up procedures and processes to comply with legislation, as well as creating an organization for responsibility distribution. Experience from public sector work Scope and Start Date Full-time, consulting assignment for 6 months. Start immediately.
