Do you want to work with evaluation and analysis and contribute to the development of healthcare at the national level? If so, this could be the position for you—we are currently seeking 2 new colleagues for our unit. The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's Analysis Department maps, monitors, evaluates, analyzes, and forecasts developments in healthcare, dental care, and social services. In the department, we work from our vision: "We make the complex understandable." The unit has special responsibility for working with evaluation, indicators, and target levels linked to national guidelines, screening, and other knowledge support. We also have an overall responsibility, together with other units in the department, to provide the National Board of Health and Welfare's comprehensive analytical activities by mapping and evaluating the content, scope, quality, and effectiveness of care and services. About the position You drive and take responsibility for analysis assignments—from planning through implementation and follow-up. You take overall responsibility, prioritize, and ensure that work progresses and achieves results. You work in close collaboration with colleagues, medical experts, and other stakeholders. The assignment requires good cooperation skills combined with the ability to work independently. The role also requires you to be structured and flexible to adapt to rapid changes. We use both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, and you need to be interested in actively participating in and contributing to the projects' methodological discussions. Together, everyone contributes with different perspectives and knowledge to develop evaluations, analyses, and indicators and target levels. You create participation through dialogue and take advantage of different viewpoints to reach common goals. The role includes: planning and implementing analysis assignments coordinating and involving relevant stakeholders converting analysis results into concrete improvement proposals writing reports and other public texts contributing to the development of working methods and approaches project-leading your own assignments and participating as a team member in other assignments collaborating internally with different departments and externally with other authorities Great emphasis in our work is placed on collaboration with regions and other organizations, which contributes to a broad understanding of healthcare's challenges and opportunities. We are looking for someone who has an academic degree in nursing or natural sciences or another field that we consider equivalent knowledge and experience of evaluation and analysis methods multi-year and current experience implementing your own assignments and analyses good knowledge and understanding of the healthcare system good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written work experience from employment at a government agency or other public administration About you To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to take responsibility for your work and contribute to the whole collaborate well and create engagement and participation communicate clearly and attentively work in a structured manner and drive work forward be curious and contribute to development and improvement be a person who shares our government values It is meritorious if you have experience with both quantitative and qualitative analysis methods experience with knowledge-based governance at national or regional level experience working in a structured way with improvements and efficiency experience facilitating dialogues and workshops experience in project management a doctorate in an area relevant to the position Good to know The employment is permanent and full-time with a six-month probationary period. Placement is in the Analysis Department. You will be based at the office on Västerbroplan in Stockholm, but have the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week after the probationary period ends.
