Our headquarters is located at Hedenstorp in Jönköping, with local offices in Värnamo and Ödeshög. Today we have approximately 65 employees and operate around 40 of our own machines. We are members of Byggföretagen and follow applicable collective agreements. Your Role's Focus As a procurement engineer, you'll have a varied role with significant responsibility and many contact points. You work closely with project managers and the production organization, serving as important support throughout the entire project process. The role combines technical, administrative, and business tasks where you contribute to projects being completed with the right quality, economy, and structure. Your responsibilities include: Support the production organization in ongoing contracts Work with budgeting and bid preparation Work with procurement and purchasing of subcontractors and suppliers Analyze tender documents Contribute to planning, monitoring, and financial control of projects Develop and improve working methods, routines, and processes Have solution-oriented dialogues with customers, suppliers, and partners Develop unique business opportunities together with both new and existing customers This is a role for someone who appreciates variety and wants to be involved in many aspects of the contracting process. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone with experience from the construction or earth and civil works industry who thrives in a role where technology, business, and collaboration meet. You've likely worked as a procurement engineer, project manager, production manager, estimator, or in a similar role where you gained a solid understanding of different aspects of contracting operations. We believe you have: Experience from the construction or earth and civil works industry Knowledge of budgeting, project management, and contract economics Good understanding of earth and civil works Ability to read and interpret technical and legal documents Experience with procurement, purchasing, or supplier relations A business perspective and good understanding of project profitability The commitment to, after developing a good business opportunity for both Schaktab and the customer, close the deal Computer skills with relevant programs for budgeting, project monitoring, etc. If you have experience with excavation, mass handling, and production matters in civil works, we see that as a merit.
