Construction Engineer for Leading Installation Company

About the role: As a construction engineer, you will have a central and broad role in residential construction projects within installation, supporting project managers with schedules, resource and procurement planning, financial forecasts, contract matters, and documentation related to change orders, obstacles, and disruptions. You will be an important link between project management, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal operations, with the opportunity to follow projects both administratively and in production. You will be part of a residential department within Region Installation and work closely with project managers, branch managers, department heads, and another construction engineer on the team. We are looking for you: We are seeking someone with a technical engineering degree or equivalent post-secondary technical education, for example in construction engineering, building engineering, or vocational training as a construction engineer. You have a clear interest in construction, installation, contracting, or technical project environments, as well as basic understanding of economics, construction law, and project planning. To thrive in this role, you are organized, communicative, and responsible, with the ability to drive matters forward and build good relationships with many different contacts. About the company: The company is one of the Nordic's leading players in installation and technical solutions. The operations focus on functions that are critical in real estate and public infrastructure, such as electrical, ventilation, and plumbing. The company has a clear focus on sustainable and energy-efficient solutions, safety, and an inclusive work environment. The role is part of a region operating in Uppsala and Stockholm counties with approximately 600 employees. Here you will get a strong start in the installation industry, with broad exposure to projects, economics, production, and management. For the right person, there are good development opportunities toward project management, leadership, work environment, IT, or specialist roles. Practical information: The position is full-time with placement in Uppsala or Solna, depending on where you live. Start is as soon as possible, taking into account any notice period.
