As a Construction Engineer at Peab Byggservice in Jönköping/Höglandet, your role is incredibly important in taking projects to the next level. At Peab Byggservice, we primarily work with ongoing operations, such as maintenance and repair work. We have numerous framework agreements and national customer agreements, and one of our strengths is that we conduct operations throughout the country. Another characteristic of ours is that we often perform work in occupied environments and in ongoing operations, which places high demands on our flexibility and customer service level. About the Position As a construction engineer, you work closely with the Site Manager and are an important link between the company and the client. You are responsible for design work on both smaller and larger scales, you prepare estimates and project plans for bids, and you are responsible for these. You handle procurement, manage documentation and follow-up, and support and assist the Site Manager in our projects, both technically and financially. Our construction engineers are involved in the entire project and have contact with our customers, partners, and those working in our production. We value our relationships and see that you have a strong commitment to providing support and service. The position is based in Jönköping or Nässjö. Who Are You? You have a college degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, or have acquired equivalent work experience by working in the industry for several years. You have strong knowledge in particular of estimating, procurement, project economics, project law, production, and are skilled at expressing yourself clearly in speech and writing. The position requires you to work independently on several different projects simultaneously. This demands your ability to work in a structured and goal-oriented manner and to prioritize and meet deadlines. The position also requires you to be good at collaborating and to recognize the value of strong relationships both externally and internally. Class B driver's license and access to your own car are requirements. Strong knowledge of estimating is highly desirable.
