Construction Engineer – Infrastructure About the Position Our client is a smaller, growing infrastructure construction company with ambitions to continue developing and capturing new market share. We are now seeking a construction engineer who wants to be part of the company's continued growth journey and take on an important role in both projects and company development. As a construction engineer, you will work closely with the CEO and project organization, becoming an important connecting link between estimation, design, procurement, finance, and production. You will have a broad and varied role where you are given significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence working methods, processes, and project development. The company primarily works with infrastructure construction projects, and you will be involved in projects from early estimation and tender stages through execution and financial follow-up. You will work with, among other things: Estimation and tender work Design and production planning Financial follow-up and forecasting Procurement and follow-up of subcontractors and suppliers Quantity calculations and bills of quantities Production and project follow-up Contract and agreement matters Coordination between various project stakeholders Continuous development of the company's working methods and processes We would appreciate if you have experience with LOU (the Public Procurement Act) and have worked with public procurement, tenders, and tender documentation. Experience in reading, interpreting, and working with bills of quantities is also a merit. About You We are looking for someone with a construction or infrastructure engineering education and several years of experience in a similar role within infrastructure, construction, or related activities. You ideally have experience with: Estimation and tender work in infrastructure construction Finance, forecasts, and financial follow-up Design and production planning Procurement and supplier/subcontractor relations Bills of quantities and quantity calculations LOU and public procurement Project and business systems Office software, particularly Excel It is important that you are comfortable taking responsibility and can see the bigger picture in a project. You don't need to know everything from day one – what matters more is that you have a solid foundation, your own drive, and a willingness to continue developing with the company. You enjoy working independently and taking your own initiatives, but also appreciate working closely with the CEO, project managers, and production.
