In this role, you will have a broad and varied position where you are involved in several parts of the project's different phases. You work closely with both project management and production and get an important role in monitoring the project's finances, planning, and progress. The role involves significant personal responsibility and provides good insight into the entire project process from planning to execution. This is a direct recruitment, which means the recruitment process is conducted by Futuria People but you will be employed directly by the client. About the Position As a construction engineer, you work closely with project managers and site managers on one or more building projects. You have a central role in project management and are responsible for supporting the project team in finance, planning, procurement, and follow-up. You are part of a project team together with project managers, site managers, work supervisors, and other construction engineers and work closely with production throughout the project. In the role, you will, among other things: • Work with project finance through budgets, forecasts, and financial monitoring • Participate in procurement, purchasing, and ordering of subcontractors and materials • Handle contracts, invoices, and variation orders in dialogue with project managers and subcontractors • Participate in building meetings and support project managers and site management in project planning and execution • Establish and monitor production schedules and support production with administrative matters • Work with quality and environmental matters and sustainability work, for example Building Product Declaration The role also includes work in the project management system Next and contributes to the development of the company's working methods in upcoming projects. What We're Looking For • Several years of experience as a construction engineer or similar role, and are confident in independently managing estimates, procurement, and financial follow-up in construction projects • Have a vocational or higher education degree in construction or equivalent work experience • Have good understanding of construction law, especially standard contracts such as AB 04 and ABT 06 • Have experience with estimating and project management systems, preferably Next or similar • Have a good understanding of both building production and project finances • Communicate fluently in Swedish both spoken and written and have good knowledge of English • Hold a category B driver's license • Are structured, business-minded, and thrive in a role where you take significant personal responsibility while working closely with project management, production, and external parties Other Information Start: By agreement Scope: Full-time Location: Uppsala Please submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are ongoing.
