Kråkan is a children's and youth residential home according to LSS 9:8. We accommodate children and young people aged 13-17. We are now seeking a unit manager/director with experience working with children and youth in the LSS target group and the required qualifications to be listed on the permit issued by IVO (The Inspectorate for Healthcare and Social Care). Requirements for employment: You must have experience with children and youth in the LSS target group, experience as a manager/director (minimum 2 years), and the required qualifications (minimum 3.5 years of higher education in the field). This is a requirement to be listed on the permit issued by IVO (The Inspectorate for Healthcare and Social Care). As unit manager, you are the permit holder/director for the unit and have full responsibility for personnel, work environment, and budget. Your responsibilities include coaching staff members and providing support in daily operations. You contribute to the development of the organization and keep the needs of the children and youth in focus. The unit manager is part of the management team and reports to the CEO and Quality Manager. About You: To succeed in this role, we believe you are a confident, calm, and independent leader. Requirements for Application: - University degree in a relevant field, such as social work or other equivalent qualifications that qualify you to be listed on the permit (IVO) for the current operations. - Documented experience with personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility in healthcare and social services. - Documented experience working with the LSS target group. - Documented experience working as a manager/director. - Good Swedish language skills, both written and spoken. - Valid driver's license; business travel is required. We consider the following as meriting: - Experience in a supervisory position within LSS 9:8 - Previously been listed as a permit holder for LSS 9:8 operations - Training in and experience with low-affective interaction and clarifying pedagogy. - Documented good experience leading through change - Experience starting new residential homes. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We conduct background checks and use probationary employment. A fundamental requirement for employment is that IVO approves our application for you to be listed on the permit for the operations. Before employment, you must provide an extract from the suspicion and criminal record registry.
