We're now seeking a unit manager who wants to help shape the future of business-focused HR at Kronofogden. About the job We're implementing an organizational change where we're dividing the HR department into two units: one for business-focused HR support and one for workforce planning. The goal is to create a cohesive strategic HR delivery with a broader mandate. The new business-focused HR support unit will consist of HR partners, negotiation expertise, and specialist roles in occupational environment, labor law, and compensation. As unit manager, you're responsible for: leading and developing the unit toward increased strategic depth, knowledge, and clear business focus ensuring cohesive, uniform, and equitable employer policies ensuring that competence and work methods meet future needs and create efficient workflows and continuous learning planning, leading, and monitoring the unit's delivery and contributing to the HR department's shared mission, objectives, and direction. You have personnel responsibility for the unit's employees, participate in the HR department's management group, and report to the HR Director located in Sundbyberg. As unit manager, you have operational, personnel, budget, and occupational environment responsibility for your unit. You translate overarching goals and strategies into clear assignments. As a member of the department's management group, you share responsibility for leading and developing the department together with your colleagues. You collaborate within and outside the agency to achieve results and create value for our customers. You're expected to exercise close leadership even when you and your employees work in different locations. As unit manager, you'll be based in Stockholm, or alternatively in Gothenburg, Malmö, or Östersund. About you As a manager at Kronofogden, you're expected to meet our leadership criteria and employee policies. You exercise close leadership that enables active employee engagement. You have the ability to lead through change and develop operations through continuous improvement. Your analytical ability means you can handle a high degree of complexity in your work and understand how different parts of the organization affect each other. You think strategically and act decisively, even when the path forward is unclear. As unit manager, you show great confidence in your section managers' abilities while ultimately being responsible for results and quality. You communicate in a way that creates participation and engagement, and you have the ability to collaborate and promote a good working environment. Being a manager and leader means both challenging others and being open to challenges regarding mindset and working methods. Your qualifications: academic education primarily in HR, at least 180 hp (120 p) several years of current and relevant managerial experience in the HR field current experience leading work in areas such as labor law, cooperation, occupational environment, compensation and conditions current experience representing the business area in dialogue with trade unions current experience leading and supporting operations through ongoing change and development work current experience ensuring that central HR processes are implemented and adapted to the business area's specific needs, and when necessary, clearly advocating for the business area's circumstances. It's desirable that you've completed management and leadership training. It's also desirable that you have experience leading remotely. Good to know The position is a permanent employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. You'll be employed as an investigator and receive a management assignment for five years. If you're already employed at Kronofogden, you'll remain in your base position during the assignment period. Travel is part of the job. Kronofogden offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer. Working in the public sector means following the government's core values. There are also special requirements regarding judgment, security mindset, and compliance with applicable laws.
