About the Operation We are now seeking a unit manager for a Care and Residential Living Facility in Borås, a varied and meaningful job with the opportunity to make a difference! You will be based at Distansgatan 7 in Borås where you will be one of three unit managers. Distansgatan 7 houses residents with both cognitive and somatic illnesses. You will be responsible for units focused on cognitive illness, including one unit that provides advanced care and services. Job Responsibilities As a unit manager, you are responsible for the quality of operations, personnel, finances, and work environment, and you work both strategically and operatively. To ensure good and safe care and services for residents, systematic quality work is central to all activities. Through continuous improvement efforts, you ensure that residents receive high-quality services and a meaningful daily life. Together with employees and safety representatives, you develop work methods and routines to create participation, engagement, and job satisfaction. To support your management role, you have close collaboration with fellow managers, coordinators, and HR and finance functions. Qualifications For this position, a bachelor's degree is required, for example in social work, health care, or organization and leadership. Previous management experience is a merit. Since our other units are located throughout Borås Municipality, you must have a driver's license. You need the ability to build good relationships and be trustworthy in your work, which aligns with the trust-based leadership approach used within Borås City. You are results-oriented and committed to achieving the organization's goals. You are also responsive and have a holistic perspective to create the best conditions for employees, residents, relatives, and collaboration partners. We are looking for someone who is confident and secure in their management role with the ability to lead the operation with good results. You are collaborative and enjoy shared leadership. Furthermore, you are structured in your work approach and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work day. You have good system knowledge, preferably in Heroma, Stratsys, Viva, and Time Care.
