Here's a unique opportunity for you! One of our unit managers at Dicksons Hus care and housing facility is taking parental leave this fall, and we're now looking for you as a replacement. This is a permanent position based at Dicksons Hus. When the regular unit manager returns from parental leave, the placement may potentially be changed to another of our care and housing facilities within the organization. Dicksons Hus is a modern care and housing facility located in the vibrant and beloved Lunden neighborhood. It features bright, spacious facilities with excellent conditions for activities and community. The facility also has a highly appreciated restaurant that is open to everyone. The operation includes 101 apartments with a focus on both somatic and dementia care. As a unit manager, you lead engaged employees to meet residents' needs and develop operations based on trust-based leadership. You work closely with three fellow unit manager colleagues and participate in the management team together with the operations manager, quality developer, and other unit managers. The role includes responsibility for finances, personnel, and work environment, supported by finance, HR, and quality development functions, evening and weekend on-call safety services, and an administrator with planning responsibility and care coordinators. About You Qualifications We're looking for someone with a university degree with at least 120 university credits, for example in care and support, social work, or behavioral science You have good knowledge of current legislation—the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Care Act (SoL and HSL) Merits Previous experience working as a manager Previous experience in care and support work If you have completed a leadership training program Personal Competencies For this position, we're looking for someone who can translate goals into concrete action. You can adapt your work when circumstances change and follow up on operational results in a structured manner. You listen to others' needs and treat both employees and residents with care.
