Welcome to us We are now seeking a unit manager who will have special responsibility for outreach services with Klara field workers and youth coaches, based at an office on Sergels torg, Klaranavet. Within the Quality Department, Northern Inner City conducts crime prevention and safety-building work in public spaces. Our target audience includes those who live in Northern Inner City as well as everyone who visits us daily to attend school, work or enjoy the district's attractions and experiences. As part of this work, we are building a new service with Klara field workers and youth coaches who primarily work in an outreach capacity in the Klara district on and around Sergels torg. You will build a new service together with employees and in close cooperation with several other actors and authorities. You are responsible for the Klara field workers' and youth coaches' activities, budget, personnel and work environment. You direct, plan and develop the unit's assignment and work methods, and contribute to cohesion and shared development within the unit. You lead the unit forward in line with its goals and purpose. You collaborate and cooperate with other actors to reduce organizational gaps in the city's risk environments with a focus on identifying and guiding children and young people at both indicated and selective levels. Since employees work evenings, nights and weekends, the role will require flexibility in work hours. We are looking for someone who sees it as natural to step in and work alongside employees and who views this as important for increased understanding of the assignment. You report to the department manager. Your competence and experience We are looking for you who have: university education, preferably social work degree experience with responsibility for operations, personnel and budget very good language skills and experience expressing yourself in Swedish It is meritorious if you have: experience leading outreach work in risk environments for children and young people experience building a new service legal expertise particularly in social services law and confidentiality matters experience working with social guidance, coaching or case management management training In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability and based on Stockholm City's management profile.
