The activities provide young people with the opportunity to create, organize, and participate in music and culture. Arena 305 actively works with participation, inclusion, and equality through clear and targeted initiatives to become and be a meeting place that is attractive and welcoming. Work in Progress is a newly launched cultural activity and meeting place for young people aged 16–25 at Kulturhyllan in Hyllie, which is now developing into an obvious place for young cultural practitioners who want to create and participate in up-and-coming culture in all possible forms. Work in Progress specifically targets young adults who create themselves, regardless of art form, and who want to explore, develop, or establish themselves in creative industries. Work in Progress offers a community where young people can meet others, exchange ideas, and build togetherness; gain access to networks with contacts and contexts within cultural life; a place where they can showcase their own creative work, regardless of expression or experience; and coaching, inspiration, and knowledge to take the next step.
