Dependency Center Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and assistance to people with problems related to alcohol, drugs, medications, or gambling. Our services include acute and 24-hour care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized treatment. We are also a clinic that conducts university healthcare as well as research and education. The Workplace The clinic is located in Tyresö and is part of the Southern Region's outpatient care section. The clinic staff includes three nurses, one medical secretary, one specialist physician, and a part-time psychologist, in addition to the unit manager. We treat patients with harmful use and/or addiction to alcohol, drugs, medications, and gambling. We also treat psychiatric comorbidity, so work is conducted in an integrated manner and in collaboration with adult psychiatry when needed. Primary care, social services, and other care partners are important collaborators. Job Responsibilities As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for leading and organizing the ongoing work, as well as utilizing employees' expertise and encouraging their development. The unit manager is responsible for the work environment, budget, and nursing care, as well as monitoring care agreements and quality indicators. You also sit on the section's management group together with other unit managers within the section, the assistant section manager, and the medical director. Some clinical duties are included. We need someone who is prepared to prioritize business development alongside systematic work environment management. Qualifications Licensed healthcare personnel with experience working in psychiatric outpatient care is required. It is advantageous if you have held a management position in psychiatry with responsibility for quality and development work based on evidence and SLSO's care processes. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for achieving the organization's goals and vision. You should be flexible and initiate and drive change efforts in the unit. Employment Terms Permanent employment in a base position with a three-year appointment as unit manager with the possibility of extension.
