Borlänge Municipality is now seeking a unit manager for municipal rehabilitation who wants to develop and strengthen future rehabilitation work together with engaged employees and fellow managers. As a unit manager, you will play an important role in ongoing change initiatives. The Care Administration operates on behalf of the Care Board and is responsible for activities within elderly care and LSS (disability services). The operations are now facing an exciting development process with a focus on sustainability, collaboration, and new working methods where you will play an important role in driving the work forward toward improved quality. The rehabilitation services are currently organized into three groups: municipal rehabilitation, Borlänge rehabilitation, and training and competence. Municipal rehabilitation is responsible for the municipality's special housing facilities, LSS housing (group and service apartments) and housing within social psychiatry. Borlänge rehabilitation is responsible for regular housing, short-term housing, and alternating housing. The training and competence group is responsible for mobility training and also includes the municipality's vision and hearing instructor. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a unit manager, you will be part of the health care management group together with two additional health care unit managers, as well as specialist functions such as MAR, MAS, developers, and methodological support organized under the health care operations manager. In this role, you will have personnel responsibility for approximately 37 employees: occupational therapists, physiotherapists/physical therapists and rehabilitation assistants as well as an administrator. You will have personnel and budget responsibility for the rehabilitation unit. Your responsibilities also include overall responsibility for patient safety and contributing to the overall health care operations. Your role involves leading, developing, and monitoring the operations with a focus on quality, collaboration, and sustainable working methods. You actively work with change, improvement, and development initiatives to meet the needs of current and future operations. QUALIFICATIONS Basic requirements for the position: • License as an occupational therapist, physiotherapist/physical therapist or relevant education that the employer deems applicable for the position • Many years of experience in clinical work as a licensed professional within rehabilitation or other areas relevant to the position • Experience in leadership, preferably from a position as a unit manager or other equivalent managerial role • Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing • Category B driver's license Personal qualities: We are looking for you as a secure and stable leader with a present, open, clear, and communicative leadership style.
