Your Role
As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for ensuring that planned and budgeted investment projects are carried out efficiently, systematically, and sustainably—with a clear project process as the foundation. You lead and allocate work within the unit and ensure that operations are conducted systematically, with the right priorities and good oversight. The role involves a high pace, where you need to be able to handle changes and make decisions with short notice.
An important part of your assignment is to:
Streamline working methods and create smart, sustainable flows in the project process.
Drive and develop digitalization to strengthen planning, monitoring, and implementation.
Ensure that projects move forward at the right pace.
Create the conditions for the unit to deliver according to plan.
You have a complete overview of the unit's delivery, including:
staff utilization
project finances
competence and resource allocation
You are responsible for ensuring that the unit has the right conditions to drive projects both internally and as a client. In addition to the operational management assignment, you are part of the Development department's management group, where you and other managers take responsibility for the organization's objectives and long-term development. You report to the department manager.
We Are Looking for You
You are a manager today with experience leading employees in an organization where delivery, structure, and clear priorities are critical.
You have:
Academic education in civil engineering, technology, environment, construction and infrastructure, or equivalent
Experience in a managerial role with personnel responsibility
Experience with budget work and financial responsibility
A category B driver's license and good computer skills are required, as are very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Experience from the water and sewage industry or related infrastructure operations is highly desirable. Similarly, experience in project management is highly desirable.
