Welcome to us Postiljonen Care and Residential Home is nestled in greenery in Svedmyra in southern Stockholm with proximity to public transportation such as bus and subway. Postiljonen has 57 beds distributed across 9 units. The operations have both dementia and somatic focus as well as short-term units for people with dementia diagnoses. Your role As unit manager at Postiljonen Care and Residential Home, you have independent overall responsibility for operations, quality, finances, personnel, and work environment. You lead and develop the operations together with your employees and ensure care and services of high quality. You have personnel responsibility for approximately 30 employees. At Postiljonen there are two unit managers who together, with support from the area manager, drive the operations' development. As part of the management team, you collaborate closely with your manager colleagues and contribute to developing well-functioning operations with focus on quality, cooperation, and continuous improvements. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: a university degree as a social worker, in healthcare or other direction that the employer considers relevant for the position several years of current management experience with finances, personnel, and operations responsibility several years of current experience leading licensed personnel within elderly care good knowledge of the operations' governing legislation (SoL and HSL) It is meritorious if you have: a university degree in healthcare We place great emphasis on leadership that is close, active, and clear.
