For us, it is important that you want to be active and present in the operations. This is so you can ensure that the company's values, current agreements, and applicable legislation are being followed. You will also nurture and develop relationships with employees, residents, and their relatives in the operations. You have good relationships with relevant authorities. You report to the Operations Manager and, together with group managers, you are part of the local management team. As Unit Manager, you will be the closest manager for the HSL team, dementia team, operations profile leaders, caretaker, and day activity center staff. About Polhemsgården Polhemsgården in Solna consists of 80 apartments with a dementia focus and the day activity center Lyktan. Polhemsgården has nature and gardens as its profile. Time outdoors and activities in nature, parks, and gardens are natural parts of our everyday life. We work with different nature themes throughout the year. Vardaga operates the facility on behalf of Solna municipality. • Silviahem certification: We are a Silviahem-certified residential facility, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia care and interaction through Silviahem. • Ung Omsorg: We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg conducts various activities together with us to add extra sparkle to the lives of our residents. Your Experience and Knowledge We would like you to: be coaching-oriented and want your employees to grow, develop, and take responsibility. enjoy giving and receiving feedback and breaking down and working toward set goals. be solution-oriented and see opportunities rather than obstacles. be unpretentious, independent, and collaborative. be business-minded by wanting and being able to manage and follow up on operations based on quality goals and financial frameworks. You have relevant university education as a trained registered nurse and experience in elderly care. You also have several years of documented experience in management positions and good references regarding leadership. All unit managers go through our leadership program where you have the opportunity to develop within leadership through our training organization Lära. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
