About the Position
The medical unit is staffed by nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants, both in Storuman and Tärnaby. As unit manager, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and monitoring the operations. You hold personnel, work environment, and budget responsibility and work closely with both employees and other managers within care services.
You will also actively work to promote the adoption of new digital welfare technology and digital tools to meet current and future needs, ensuring we remain an attractive employer. We believe that in this role you will want to adopt a flexible approach, as the nature of the assignment may change over time.
Together with the care services operations manager and your fellow unit manager colleagues in the district, you will initiate, support, and lead operational processes.
We are also implementing the New Social Services Act (Nya SoL) and related development initiatives, which makes this role particularly exciting and forward-looking.
We Are Looking for You If You:
Have relevant education for the position, meaning you hold a university degree in care and health services or healthcare. It is advantageous if you have management or leadership experience.
Understand what it means to work in a politically governed organization.
Have experience with staffing planning and working with digital tools in care and health services.
Are organized, clear, and results-oriented.
Have leadership experience and the ability to inspire and motivate employees toward established goals.
Have strong communication skills and are accustomed to making decisions based on both operational needs and individual perspectives.
Have experience driving change and development initiatives within a large and complex organization.
Express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work.
Employment Form: Permanent position; employment may begin with a six-month probationary period.
