Do you want to help create the conditions for healthy eating habits for our coming generation? As a unit manager in our Meal Services department, you and your colleagues will work together to provide sustainable meals to our children and youth. We're looking for someone who enjoys leading through change and who enthusiastically wants to contribute to our development journey across the entire meal services organization. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for approximately thirty employees across about ten different kitchens in preschools and schools. Together with the management group and support functions for Meal Services, you will be a strong contributor to the development journey for both your unit and the meal services organization as a whole. You will have an independent role with the freedom to organize your planning in the best way. Through good structure and organization, you create favorable conditions for both the daily meal service operations and for future meals. Since your kitchens are spread out, the role often involves remote leadership, but you will also make regular physical visits to the kitchens you oversee. With great focus, you contribute to safety and a developmental and creative work environment where each employee's competence is utilized to the fullest. Together, you set goals for how you can continue working in a climate-smart manner while considering finances and budget, while also developing the nutritional and meal experience for our young people. As a unit manager, you naturally have full responsibility for finances, work environment, and personnel. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who, through trust, humility, and clarity, creates the conditions for commitment, safety, and courage in the activities you lead. With your positive approach and your competence, you tackle challenges in a professional manner. You enjoy building relationships and leading through change. Cooperation and collaboration come naturally to you. You are a good listener and an independent person with the ability to work toward set goals, plan, structure, analyze, and see the bigger picture. We would like you to have previously worked as a manager with responsibility for operations, finances, and personnel, and that you are experienced in planning, implementation, and follow-up. You should have a high school diploma and preferably post-secondary education in the field and/or several years of experience in a leadership position in a large-scale kitchen. It is an advantage to have post-secondary education in nutrition. You will lead meetings, give presentations, and document matters that require good Swedish proficiency, both orally and in writing.
