Unit Manager for Facilities Services, Department of Technology and Services

Do you want to be part of developing a business in transition? We are now recruiting an additional unit manager for facilities services in Håbo Municipality. This is an assignment where you will have a key role in shaping a more sustainable and future-proof organization. About the Workplace Håbo Municipality is a growing municipality with approximately 1,700 employees. Facilities services is an important part of the municipality's operations and is responsible for maintaining and cleaning facilities in our operations. Through their work, facilities services contributes to keeping the municipality's premises clean, pleasant and welcoming for everyone who uses them. Facilities services is a growing operation with approximately 65 employees. Together we are responsible for facilities services in around 100 facilities, which corresponds to approximately 133,000 square meters of floor space. Today the operation is led by one unit manager, and now we are strengthening the organization by recruiting another. The change is part of an ongoing development initiative where the goal is to gradually divide the operation into two units with a shared focus and budget. As a unit manager, you will work together with the department manager, the current unit manager and other management to: strengthen leadership and make it more present develop working methods and quality create a sustainable work environment Your Responsibilities You have overall responsibility for personnel, work environment, budget and business development within your part of the operation. The role includes: leading and developing employees and supervisors ensuring quality and follow-up driving improvement and development work contributing to shaping the new organization Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: experience working as a manager with personnel, work environment and operational responsibility experience leading and developing larger groups of employees experience with change and development work good ability to plan, prioritize and follow up on operations experience with budget work and financial follow-up good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written good digital skills and experience working with various systems It is advantageous if you have: experience from facilities services or other service operations experience working in a politically governed organization education in leadership, organization or similar experience with the Clean Pilot operations system experience with procurement We Are Looking for Someone Who is a confident and clear leader has experience leading larger groups of employees thrives in change and wants to drive development work works in a structured way and has a holistic perspective is good at creating collaboration and engagement Welcome to Apply!
