About the Operation The Medical Unit at the Medical Clinic belongs to the Primary Care Area West and is a smaller unit with close proximity to colleagues and short decision-making paths. The unit comprises senior physicians, specialist physicians, ST physicians, and as needed, locum junior physicians. The unit has space for training physicians such as AT, BT, and rotating ST physicians. The physicians distribute their work across units such as the emergency department, ward, ICU/IMU, and outpatient clinic. As unit manager for this unit, you will collaborate with these units and contribute to the design and monitoring of work methods that promote patient flow in healthcare. The unit manager's role is to coordinate the group and lead and distribute work in an optimal way within the operation. In your work as unit manager, you are responsible for finances and personnel matters in close cooperation with the region's support functions. You will be part of the operation's management team where we maintain an open and supportive work climate with good collaboration. The employment is a permanent position in your base profession, and the managerial appointment is time-limited with the Region's leadership policy as a benchmark. The management assignment is 50%. There is an opportunity to combine the management assignment with other work within the operation.
