About the Job Do you want to lead and develop the future of home care services? Now you have the opportunity as we are seeking a management colleague for Torslanda home care. The position involves personnel responsibility for approximately 25 employees, and you will work closely with three other unit managers to manage your assignment. Your main responsibility as a unit manager with us includes responsibility for the implementation of granted assistance decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and tasks according to the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL). The assignment involves leading, planning, developing, and being responsible for your unit with total budget, personnel, and work environment responsibility. Together with your employees and management group, you will create a permissive and safe environment where everyone can develop. You are responsible for translating politically determined goals and assignments into operations. It is about working through others and relying on your employees' competence and commitment to solve tasks. You will have a network across the city, and you will also have support from various support functions such as finance, HR, and quality development. Connected to your unit is an administrator with a focus on planning, operational support, and care coordinators. In the evenings and weekends, there is a safety hotline that handles parts of your assignment. To support and develop you in your leadership, Gothenburg City offers various introduction modules and competence development programs aimed at managers. About You Requirements: To be qualified for the position, you must have a university degree such as a Social Worker degree, Social Care degree, or another university degree that we as an employer deem equivalent.
