Unit Manager / Operations Manager for newly established home care service in Gothenburg We are starting a new home care company in Gothenburg and are now seeking an experienced and driven unit manager/operations manager who wants to be involved from the beginning and build up the operations together with us. This is a role for you if you thrive with responsibility, structure, and creating something long-term – not for you if you want to step into an already established organization. ABOUT THE ROLE As unit manager and operations manager, you will have full responsibility for the operations during the startup phase. The owners will be available as support in the background, but the operational responsibility will largely rest with you. You will, among other things: Build up and lead the home care operations from the ground up Take responsibility for operations, personnel, and financial matters Responsible for scheduling, work environment, and day-to-day operations Ensure quality, documentation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations (SoL, LSS, etc.) Participate in recruiting care staff Maintain contact with customers, relatives, and the municipality Work actively to establish and develop the customer base EMPLOYMENT FORM The position is initially part-time during the build-up phase, with a clear ambition to transition to full-time as the operations grow. QUALIFICATIONS Education Degree in social work, college education in social care, or other equivalent university education Equivalent education means university education with a focus on healthcare, social care, or behavioral science The education must include, or be supplemented with, at least 15 university credits in social law or social care Language Swedish language skills equivalent to at least upper secondary school level or Swedish as a Second Language 3, both spoken and written Management Experience At least 24 months of management experience in the last 7 years, at least 75% employment rate Experience from elderly care, municipal health and medical care, and/or disability services Practical experience with operations, personnel, and financial responsibility Education and experience must be verifiable with CV, diplomas, and employment references. PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS You are structured, self-driven, and confident in the management role, with a good understanding of home care regulations and quality requirements. You work seamlessly with digital systems and can provide relevant references.
