Healthcare and social services is part of the Social Office, which also includes Elderly Care, Support Services, Individual and Family Services, and Administration and Digitalization. We are the largest office in the municipality with approximately 1,200 employees. The Social Office is currently in a phase characterized by innovative thinking and quality. You will be located in entirely new, well-adapted facilities at Helheten – Center for Care and Health. Together with other unit managers, you will be part of the management group, which also includes activity developers in specialized areas and is led by an operations manager. The entire municipal home care service is also located in the same building. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As unit manager for the rehabilitation unit, you will be an important part of the management group within the Healthcare and Social Services unit. You lead a unit with high competence and great commitment. The role also includes a special development task where you work closely with unit managers for the nursing unit within special housing and regular housing. Close collaboration between our unit managers is an important part of the organization and creates good conditions for shared learning, innovation, and change work. It also offers great opportunities to influence working methods, quality, and development in our related operations. Together with your employees, you drive change and improvement work, develop new working methods and digital solutions, and contribute to an efficient and well-functioning organization where the patient's needs always come first. You create conditions for a structured, professional, and person-centered approach and contribute to developing care that is safe, local, and sustainable. You will lead and represent an experienced and ambitious group of employees consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, and assistive technology specialists, within regular housing, special housing, and LSS. You are responsible for the unit's personnel matters, work environment, finances, and quality work. QUALIFICATIONS Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for you who are/have: • Physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or other education that can be assessed as equivalent within rehabilitation. • Several years of experience working within healthcare and are well acquainted with legislation governing the field. • Good understanding of how a politically governed organization functions. • Good experience using IT as a support in work, for example Office package, Teams, etc. • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. • Class B driver's license. It is also advantageous if you have: • Previous management/leadership experience. • Previously worked with change and improvement work within municipal healthcare, specifically in rehabilitation. • Education/knowledge in leadership, group development, and/or change management.
