Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy - Movement Disorders is a new unit within a newly established business area, where you will have a key role in shaping both structure and working methods. The operation is located at Universitetssjukhuset Örebro and comprises approximately 30 employees consisting of occupational therapists and physiotherapists. Work is conducted in close collaboration with healthcare administrators and other units within the Healthcare Professions business area, which in total consists of over 200 employees. Collaboration also takes place broadly within healthcare, and travel within the county may occur. Job Responsibilities As a Unit Manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, and work environment. You lead, develop, and monitor operations both operatively and strategically, with focus on quality, patient safety, and efficient resource utilization. A central part of the assignment is to drive change and development work in an organization under construction, where the focus in the first year is on forming management structure and common working methods. The role involves close daily leadership combined with a long-term perspective on operational development. It will also include a certain portion of clinical service by agreement with the operations manager. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist/physical therapist with experience in clinical work within the field. You also have experience in management work, operational development, and change management. If you have previously held a managerial position, experience from orthopedics, rheumatology, or hand rehabilitation, we view that as meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have further education at the master's level. As a person, you are confident in your profession and have good understanding of professional matters. You have clear and trustful leadership and enjoy building relationships and creating engagement. You are responsive, structured, and responsible, with well-developed collaboration skills and a genuine interest in improvement work. You are comfortable with change and have the ability to combine clarity with flexibility. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
