Job Responsibilities
In your role as Unit Manager, you are offered a varied and developmental position where you combine clinical work with leadership. You have a central role in the operations where you are both present in daily work and responsible for driving the unit forward, both operatively and strategically. You lead work close to your team members and are an active part of the clinical day-to-day. At the same time, you have dedicated time for your management responsibilities, focusing on planning, follow-up, and development of both operations and team. You are part of the operational management team and report to the Operations Manager.
As a unit manager, you have full personnel and work environment responsibility for a team of approximately 10 employees consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, a physiotherapist, a social worker, and a housekeeper. Together, you work to create the best possible conditions for your guests—patients who need rehabilitation following surgery or illness.
In your clinical role as a nurse, you work with tasks such as medication management, patient care, medical checks, wound care, ostomy care, and coordination of the patient's ongoing planning in close collaboration with other professionals. You work in interdisciplinary teams where collaboration is a natural part of everyday work, with the goal of offering each guest individually tailored, high-quality rehabilitation.
Among other things, you will:
• Lead and develop operations through close management combined with clinical work
• Have overall responsibility for personnel, work environment, and staff development
• Ensure quality and goal achievement in line with guidelines and values
• Contribute to strategic development through active participation in management work
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
• Licensed nurse with at least 3–5 years of professional experience in acute care
• Documented experience leading or coordinating work in an operational setting, without requirement for formal personnel responsibility
• Interest in leadership and operations development and ambition to take on management responsibility
• Fluent in Swedish, spoken and written
• Good IT skills
It is also advantageous if you have:
• Previous experience as a manager with personnel responsibility
• Experience from rehabilitation operations
• Knowledge of TakeCare
