As Unit Manager, you will be part of the management team for Individual and Family Care and Support Services. The management team consists of a Director of Operations and six Unit Managers. Together we are responsible for developing the operation and ensuring that set goals are achieved with good quality, legal certainty, and financial awareness. 1 position(s). DUTIES As Unit Manager for Support Services, you will lead and develop the operation together with a fellow Unit Manager colleague. The area includes two group residences, a service residence, day activities, residential support, personal assistance, and other services according to the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities. You will divide responsibilities between you based on the operation's needs and your respective experience and competencies. The position is built on close collaboration where you support each other, challenge established practices, and take shared responsibility for the area's quality, work environment, and finances. Together you will create conditions for employees to succeed in their assignments and for the individuals receiving the operation's support to have a secure, independent, and meaningful everyday life. In the role, you are responsible for, among other things: • personnel, work environment, operations, and finances within your area of responsibility • leading, supporting, and developing employees and work groups • ensuring that the operation is conducted with good quality and in accordance with applicable legislation, goals, and guidelines • systematic quality work, follow-up, and operational development • cooperation with users, representatives, relatives, authorities, and other operations • actively contributing to the development of the entire operational area through work in the management team To support you in the role, there is a shared administrator who works closely with both of you and contributes to structure, coordination, and efficient working methods. This creates better conditions for you to focus on leadership, operational development, and close support for your employees. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • relevant university degree with a focus on social work, behavioral science, organization, or leadership, or other university education that the employer considers equivalent • strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, orally and in writing • good digital skills • knowledge of relevant legislation and systematic quality work • Class B driving license Meritorious: • Social Worker degree • experience of management positions with responsibility for personnel, work environment, finances, and operations • experience of work within support services or operations under the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities • experience of work within a social services department • completed leadership training We are looking for someone who has a clear commitment to the target group and who wants to contribute to continuing to develop support services in Bollebygd Municipality.
