The municipality is organized into one administration with four sectors. The Social Services Sector is undergoing an organizational change where we are expanding from four operational areas to five areas: Special Housing/Short-term Activities, Home Care, Individual and Family Care, Disabilities Services, and the fifth area, Municipal Primary Care/Assistance/Prevention Unit. This is a newly created position that will encompass the Prevention Unit, which includes relative support and day activities (approximately 6 employees), and part of the role involves operational development directed toward the Rehabilitation Unit. You will be part of the management team for the Assistance Unit, Municipal Primary Care, and Prevention Unit together with 5 unit managers, and you report to the Operations Manager. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as unit manager, your assignment is to start up a new unit focused on prevention where relative support and day activities will be included. In this role, you lead a smaller team of employees, and part of the position involves operational development directed toward the Rehabilitation Unit. You provide qualified support to unit managers and the operations manager in identifying and driving changes regarding improvements in processes, procedures, and working methods related to the area, as well as identifying needs and conditions for the transition to Good and Nearby Care. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is educated as an occupational therapist or physical therapist and holds a license. You are well versed in the operational applicable legislation, and you need to have prior experience as a manager with documented experience in managerial positions within municipal primary care, elderly care, or support services. You have good IT skills and have an ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We consider it meritorious if you have education or experience in change management, quality work, or management systems. As a manager, you are clear and confident in your role. You are clear in your communication style and adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation. You understand the importance of collaborating with others to achieve results. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward. Furthermore, this means that you are development-oriented, have a flexible approach, and can work with various and changing assignments. You should also have an understanding of how your own operations affect the organization as a whole. You see value in being part of a management team to create a shared vision and goal for the operations.
