Your workday as a unit manager The Department of Student and Educational Support consists of three units: the Student Support and Educational Administration unit, the Educational Case Management unit, and the Educational Support unit. The Educational Support unit's mission is to provide support for higher education pedagogical development directed at instructors, which includes, for example, support in developing courses, course modules, and teaching methods, as well as work to strengthen instructors' digital competence. The unit is also responsible for support and further development of the college's learning environments and for coordinating and supporting the college's internationalization efforts. The unit has eleven employees located in both Falun and Borlänge. It is a development-oriented unit with high capacity for change, where you lead, support, and coach employees in systematic operational development. You have budget, personnel, and operational responsibility. You are part of the department's management group where you, together with the department manager and fellow unit managers, create conditions for developing the department's and college's operations. Our requirements: academic degree at least two years of experience working as a manager and leader good administrative ability good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. Meritorious: previous employment in the higher education sector and thus understanding of educational and research matters.
