Unit Mission The Cybersecurity & Digital Trust unit is responsible for developing and supporting the entire agency's operations in information and IT security matters. The unit is part of the Government-wide IT department, which manages a varied and complex technical landscape that supports the agency's common functions, such as cybersecurity, finance, analysis, HR, and communications. The unit develops and drives modern cybersecurity work with a focus on adaptive security. Business value is weighed against risks through effective working methods and good business knowledge. The unit has competencies and capabilities in information security, IT security, law, and developers/specialists in technical security platforms. The unit's goal is to simplify, automate, and create innovative modern solutions and working methods within the security area at the Swedish Public Employment Service. The unit's mandate also includes increasing competency in IT and information security throughout the agency to enable an agile development culture, efficient information exchange, and to ensure that the agency's digital services are perceived as user-friendly and trustworthy. The unit has three sections responsible for the agency's security platform with components that support other parts of IT in maintaining good information security. Examples of functions in the security platform include authentication, authorization management, logging, monitoring, as well as processes, guidelines, and tool support for information security work. An important part is also specialist support for development and safer working methods for other operations. To succeed in the role as unit manager, you should have an understanding of all areas involved. The unit has approximately 50 employees, most of whom are located in Solna. Unit Manager's Assignment and Responsibilities Your assignment as unit manager includes overall delivery, budget, and personnel responsibility. As unit manager, you are part of the department manager's management group together with other unit managers. The management group is jointly responsible for the entire department's results and development. You have an important assignment in creating a well-functioning management group and, together with your section managers, driving and developing the unit. You are responsible for building good cooperation with relevant stakeholders. You contribute to alignment between operations, IT, and management. As a unit manager, you create a good work environment that provides conditions for performance and well-being. You work in accordance with the Swedish Public Employment Service's management criteria and promote a culture where openness, trust, and security are in focus. You build and develop strong collaborations both within and outside your own unit. Our Offer The position is a permanent, full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The work location is Solna. You will have access to a generous vacation agreement, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work remotely up to 49 percent on an annual basis. Basic Requirements for the Position At least four years of current experience in a management position with operational and personnel responsibility at a corresponding level. Experience building strong cross-functional collaborations. Higher education in a relevant field. At least 3 years of experience working with information security and cybersecurity. Experience leading work in system development-oriented IT environments. Experience from large, complex IT environments. Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written, and experience communicating technical matters to management and operations. Additional Merits for the Position Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as NIS2/Cybersecurity Act, eIDAS 2.0, ISO 27001, GDPR, and MCF regulations. Experience with security issues related to cloud services and hybrid environments. Experience with AI-related security issues and risk management.
