Your Role as Unit Manager
In this role, you will lead the development of Kungsbacka Municipality's Daily Activities together with two management colleagues, where individual participation, self-determination and development are central. We currently have approximately 330 participants and expect this number to increase in the coming years.
Based on LSS legislation, services are developed and with support from evidence-based practice we will draw on knowledge base, proven experience and the user perspective. By using statistics, ISU analyses, co-creation workshops and other relevant sources we create a shared knowledge base for development.
Daily Activities offers group and outreach programs based on five different focuses: Forest & Garden, Culture & Crafts, Service, Production and Fitness & Health.
There is also an opportunity for individual placement with support from our work consultants. Together with your team, you create meaningful activities so that participants can strengthen their abilities, participate in society and live as independently as possible.
You hold personnel, budget and work environment responsibility as well as responsibility for systematic quality work. Currently you manage a unit with approximately 22 employees in central Kungsbacka, but we expect to receive more participants which means the position's structure is subject to change.
The management group includes eight unit managers, a development manager and an operations manager, who are part of Support at Home & Activities.
You will have support functions in methodology and development, HR and finance.

We are looking for someone who has:
Relevant completed higher education for the position, such as a degree in Social Work.
Relevant management experience with full personnel responsibility under LSS legislation.
Studied social law.
Good knowledge of relevant methods, such as low-arousal interaction, AAC, motivational interviewing and other methods and approaches within the field. You have acquired these skills through experience or training.
Experience with IBIC.
B-class driving license.
It is meritorious if you have:
Work experience with the target group based on functional disabilities.
Work experience in the field of Daily Activities.

Our Offer and Other Information
We offer a time-limited temporary position of approximately one year with possible extension. The position is full-time with start in mid-December or by agreement.
