Responsibilities Would you like to be part of developing our operations in the Hisingen district? We are seeking two confident and committed leaders who want to work closely with our staff and contribute to developing Housing with Special Services (BmSS) with a focus on social psychiatry in Hisingen. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a management group where you can influence and shape the work going forward. The Department of Functional Support offers you an exciting assignment where you will be involved in developing the department's work directed toward people with functional variations. You will be part of an engaged management group consisting of several unit managers, where dialogue and collaboration are central to creating the best possible conditions for our employees and service users. As a unit manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the operations toward set goals and have personnel, work environment, and budget responsibility for the units. You are part of a management group together with six engaged unit managers for Housing with Special Services, three driven unit managers for day activities, a methods developer, and an operations developer. We share both successes and challenges in our daily work and together we help and support each other to develop the operations. Our operations within Housing with Special Services has a large and varied target group and you will get to use your leadership abilities to develop methods and working practices that increase service users' participation and influence over their lives. Qualifications A requirement for this position is that you have a social work degree, social care, behavioral science, or other education that the employer deems adequate for the operations. We also see it as a merit that you have previous experience working based on the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for People with Disabilities (LSS). It is also positive if you have good knowledge within economics and have worked within a politically governed organization. If you have completed tomorrow's manager or equivalent management training, this is also a merit. As a unit manager with us, it is important that you are motivated by clearly defined goals and have the ability to translate these into concrete action. With a focus on the goal, you can reprioritize work when conditions or needs change. At the same time, you are clear, get a hearing for your thoughts and ideas, and can influence decisions in a certain direction. You can bring enthusiasm and energy through convincing arguments that encourage good performance, teamwork, and increased motivation.
