To the special residential facility, Blomstergården, located in central Krokom, we are looking for a unit manager who, through present and trust-based leadership, inspires and supports employees in their work. Together with your staff, you create a work environment where quality, collaboration, and development are in focus. Here, relationships are important and we believe in building a culture where people feel seen, heard, and included. Blomstergården consists of four departments and is a facility characterized by care, quality, and person-centered care. The special residential care activities comprise three municipal facilities where we work closely with people and their needs in daily life. We also offer short-term stays, respite care, and safety placements to create flexibility and security when life changes. With us work approximately 160 employees who every day contribute care, knowledge, and warmth. As a unit manager, you will become part of an engaged management team consisting of seven unit managers and a department head, who will also be your immediate supervisor. The Social Services Administration consists of 600 employees where the scope of the assignment is extensive. The administration is divided into five operational areas and is present throughout the municipality. Here we are responsible for providing care and services, support and assistance, as well as health and medical care to the municipality's citizens who need it, at all stages of life. A day as a unit manager As a unit manager for special residential care, you will have a central role in a facility that is in an exciting development phase. We actively work with several important future initiatives, including implementation of the national quality register BPSD, development of sustainable staffing and scheduling, launch of a new department, and implementation of Career Journey Elderly. You are responsible for personnel, work environment, finances, and business development for two departments focused on cognitive decline and are the immediate supervisor for approximately 25 employees. In the role, you lead, plan, and follow up on operations to ensure high quality, good resource utilization, and compliance with laws, guidelines, and quality requirements. Through coaching and present leadership, you create engagement, participation, and good conditions for your employees to develop. You clarify goals and expectations, provide regular feedback, and work for a work environment characterized by openness, collaboration, and development. To enable you to focus on leadership and business development, there is support from HR consultants, accountants, SAS, MAS, and other operational support functions, as well as support on staffing and administrative matters. You lead and develop the business with responsibility for quality, results, and goal achievement. With both an operational focus and a holistic perspective, you collaborate with others to drive development within elder care. As a manager, you represent the employer and contribute to a business characterized by engagement, quality, and the municipality's values. You work closely with employees, nurses, rehabilitation staff, union representatives, and internal and external partners. Together, you work to create a safe, secure, and person-centered care where each individual's needs are at the center. Your competence The position requires: Academic education deemed relevant by the employer for the assignment Experience working in a supervisory role Experience implementing change and/or development work. Driver's license, category B. You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. To succeed in the role, we consider it desirable that you have good knowledge of the statutes governing the business as well as good digital understanding and see opportunities in technology. You are experienced in working with various systems, such as Multiaccess/TimeCare Planning, Heroma, Viva, Appva MCSS, and Visma. We are looking for someone who is a confident and clear leader with good collaboration skills, integrity, and good judgment. You are communicative, have good self-awareness, and can make well-founded decisions even in situations that place high demands on structure and prioritization. You are a present manager who builds trusting relationships and creates conditions for engagement, development, and participation. With the individual's best interests in focus, you contribute to a business where quality, safety, and professionalism permeate the daily work. We would like you to have knowledge of workplace legislation, systematic workplace safety work, and collaboration with union representatives. Experience in these areas is meritorious.
