We are looking for a new unit manager who, together with the rest of the staff, will continue developing the future of psychiatric inpatient care. About Us Department 34 cares for patients with various psychiatric diagnoses, both according to HSL and LPT, and has 16 care beds. Adjacent to the department are also two care beds for detoxification of patients who have been taken into custody according to LOB. We work in interprofessional teams consisting of doctors, nursing assistants, nurses, and social workers. We work based on the process map for psychiatric inpatient care and follow the patient through the entire care process. The department is located in facilities at Södertalje Hospital with good access to transportation. In the same building is also the clinic's other inpatient care department with which we have close cooperation. Your Role as Unit Manager As unit manager, you work together with the medically responsible doctor, MLA, and assistant unit manager with responsibility for the unit's patient care and development. You are responsible for the department's staff and finances. You also work with occupational health and rehabilitation issues, competency development, and recruitment. In your work, you have support from an economist, HR partner, patient safety officer, experienced colleagues, and your immediate supervisor to give you the best opportunity to fulfill the assignment. The department also has a staffing assistant to facilitate personnel planning and administration. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education and would like to see that you have experience in management work within the healthcare sector. It is meritorious if you are a licensed nurse, preferably a specialist in psychiatry, with several years of experience in psychiatric care. What Can We Offer You?
