Ruth's Home Care is a family-owned company operating in Alingsås and Lerum municipalities. We are now seeking a positive, flexible unit manager with experience who is confident in their professional role. About the Position As unit manager, you are responsible for the daily operations in Alingsås and Lerum. The role includes clear overall responsibility where you lead the unit toward established goals and drive systematic quality work forward. We value close and clear leadership, and in your role you are a unifying force for all employees. To support you in daily work, you have the assistance of two unit leaders and close collaboration with operations managers. Your main areas of responsibility: Quality and Development Responsibility: Ensure that operations maintain high quality, follow up on operational goals, and drive patient safety work in accordance with laws and regulations. Personnel Responsibility: Lead, motivate, and develop employees. This includes work environment and competence planning as well as salary administration. Operations Responsibility: Drive operations forward based on political decisions and laws. The position includes certain financial responsibility such as budget monitoring and salary administration. Qualifications Education: Relevant higher education (for example social worker, personnel administrator, economist) or other post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience: You are familiar with the laws and guidelines that govern care and social services within home care. It is meritorious to have experience working with Treserva, TES, and Combine. It is an advantage if you have some form of leadership training and education in systematic workplace safety work. We would like you to have experience working in municipal operations and be familiar with the conditions of a politically governed organization. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Previous management experience with personnel responsibility in home care or other elderly care is meritorious. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract with good prospects for a permanent position. Appointment of the position is made by agreement. The workplace is both Lerum and Alingsås
