Within the Functional Support Department in the Welfare and Care Sector, we operate and develop services according to LSS and SoL with a focus on quality, legal certainty, and sustainability. The department includes housing with special services, daily activities, social psychiatry, employment according to SoL, and personal support according to LSS. HSL services are organized in a resource team. Personal support includes personal assistance, relief services in the home according to LSS, companion services according to LSS, and contact person services according to both LSS and SoL. The operation is staff-intensive, economically complex, and is largely conducted in the individual's home. The assignment requires present and clear leadership with a good understanding of both self-determination and employer responsibility. Your Assignment As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for personnel, finances, and operations. You lead through others and create conditions for a sustainable organization with high quality and good working environment. The operation includes a group leader function that you work closely with in daily operations. Together you ensure quality, staffing, and support for employees. Recruitment and further development of the group leader function are part of the assignment. You are responsible for: A staff-intensive operation with complex scheduling and staffing Financial monitoring and resource optimization in a reimbursement-driven operation Quality, legal certainty, and compliance with LSS Systematic workplace safety work in users' homes Cooperation with assistance coordinators, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and other external actors Change and development work in an operation in transition You report directly to the department manager and are part of the department's management group, where you contribute strategically to the entire Functional Support development. Your Profile We are looking for someone with relevant higher education, such as social work degree or other education that the employer deems equivalent, as well as documented leadership training. You have several years of experience as a manager with full personnel, budget, and operational responsibility. You have good knowledge of LSS and experience with personal assistance or other individual-focused operations where supervision takes place in the individual's home. You have: Experience leading larger groups of employees Good financial understanding and experience working with balanced budgets Ability to handle employment law issues and complex personnel situations Experience in change management and operational development Experience from a politically governed organization is a merit.
