Within the adult area, there is a broad mix of both authority and service units, and you are part of the management team. Our managers on the service side are responsible for service housing/supported housing, housing support, and open care and employment activities. On the authority side, managers are responsible for the department's handling of cases regarding financial assistance, substance abuse and addiction, social psychiatry, domestic violence, and support to leave a criminal lifestyle. Kalmar's meeting places and refugee reception also fall under the adult operations area. In this position, you are responsible for two units: one unit with authority functions within social psychiatry and one unit with authority functions within substance abuse and addiction, as well as support for people who want to leave a criminal lifestyle. The units already work closely together today and will collaborate even more in the future as changes follow from national developments in the comorbidity area. As a unit manager, you are responsible for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances. Through present, trust-based, and coaching leadership, you create engagement, participation, and good conditions for employees to succeed in their assignments. You work process-oriented, follow up on results, and drive operational development together with employees and management colleagues. You thrive in a changing environment and are motivated by creating structure, development, and sustainable solutions together with others. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree from the social work program or other relevant higher education that the employer deems equivalent. You have knowledge of social work regarding people with mental functional limitations, comorbidity, and substance abuse and addiction. You have experience with authority functions based on IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus) and authority functions within substance abuse and addiction. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of crime prevention work. As a person, you are confident in yourself, have good self-awareness, and the ability to create good relationships. You are driven by seeing opportunities for improvement and can adapt to changed requirements and conditions. You work towards set goals, are solution-focused, and have the ability to see operations from a holistic perspective. We also believe that you have an easy time taking initiatives for collaboration on both individual and operational perspectives and that you exercise trust-based leadership. We would like to see that you have experience driving change work in operations where conditions change. You have the ability to create structure, clear direction, and engagement, and can implement this in practice together with your employees.
