Your Role As Unit Manager for Mechanical Maintenance South, you are responsible for creating conditions for safe, efficient, and well-functioning maintenance work. You lead and support the team in daily operations, ensure appropriate expertise and resources, and work toward well-being, engagement, and clarity. The role includes personnel and budget responsibility as well as administrative tasks within finance, personnel, and management systems. Your Team Your immediate team consists of ten mechanics. Together, you work to ensure that maintenance is planned, prioritized, and carried out safely and efficiently. In day-to-day operations, you collaborate closely with maintenance planners, operations unit managers, production and process engineers, among others. The team serves the southern facilities: lead calcining, lead refinery, e-calcining, precious metals plant, electrolysis, tank areas, and storage facilities. Your Responsibilities • Lead and distribute daily work within Mechanical Maintenance South. • Ensure work is conducted safely with support from work permits, risk analyses, and applicable procedures. • Conduct safety rounds. • Drive improvement initiatives. • Conduct development conversations and plan and follow up on training and competency development for employees. • Work according to and develop methods for communication, planning, and reporting. We are looking for you who have: • Upper secondary education, preferably supplemented with post-secondary education in a relevant field. • Leadership experience. • Experience from industry, mechanical maintenance, and/or workshop work. • Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English. • Good IT and system knowledge. • Class B driver's license. It is meritorious if you have experience with personnel responsibility and knowledge of labor law, LEAN principles, and process development. We would like to see that you have worked in maintenance systems before, but it is not a requirement.
