As a manager within LSS operations, you will be part of a management group within care and welfare together with six other unit manager colleagues. In the small municipality, one is responsible for several different operations such as personal assistance, group housing, day activities, and contact persons. Since we will review the organization in connection with this recruitment, it is unclear today which operations the position will include. We are looking for an engaged leader who can take over and drive continued development and quality work forward. As a unit manager for LSS operations, you have overall responsibility for the operations together with your closest management colleague. You have different operations and areas of responsibility but work closely together. You have overall responsibility for ensuring that the operations comply with current legislation, political decisions, and the municipality's guidelines and policy documents. The position as unit manager sometimes involves a high pace and requires that you have the ability to work with many different issues. At the same time, we want you to have the ability to be accommodating toward employees, colleagues, internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for someone who enjoys development work and where no two days are the same. We would like to see that you have experience from the operational field, management experience, economic awareness, and the ability to plan and develop operations based on given goals and financial frameworks. The work requires that you can work independently, be communicative, take own initiatives, and have good administrative skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Qualities we place particular emphasis on are commitment, attentiveness, good self-awareness, being goal- and results-oriented, and contributing to work satisfaction. You have an academic education that the employer deems appropriate for the assignment and you should have experience in leadership and management. It is meritorious if you have experience with management assignments within the LSS field. A driver's license is a requirement. The final candidate for the position must present valid Swedish citizenship/work permit and an extract from the criminal record before the position is filled.
